how this got started
So often I'd share my everyday stories with friends and they'd mention how I should write a book. (Yes, I'm aware that people say that all the time). But! If I won't write the book, why not at least start a blog?? Time for this lady to get with the program and switch things up. And being the impulsive crazy girl I am, I decided, hell yes! Let's do this!
By the way, thoughts on cussing on this site? I happen to have quite the potty mouth and I honestly think some of my posts will be much funnier (and real) if I can be my genuine self! So let's start with a 'Yes' to cussing for now.
More about me - I'm a Cuban-American woman in my 40's who has gone through quite the rollercoaster in life. My perspective has always remained lighthearted though because you know what? As much as people care, no one gives enough of a shit to carry you throughout your entire life just cause you fell down a few times and skinned your knees. So I've learned to suck it up and make the best I can out of life. And so far so good!
You'll get to know me much more intimately once you go through my posts. In the meantime, thank you so much for being part of this new chapter in my life. Your feedback is always welcomed but be aware that just cause a woman asks for advice, doesn't mean she's gonna follow it! Kidding! Any input is truly appreciated.
